Wellness, Healing and Recovery

Wellness and Healing:

St. Paul's offers throughout the week several programs to foster Wellness and Healing which enhance and enrich the lives our congregation and the Newport community at-large. These programs are "interfaith" and are open to the general public. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to improve your quality of life.

Can we create a meditation community? Can we meditate together to challenge and encourage one another so our daily lives can become deeply rooted in the practice and experience of meditation?  The sense of spiritual energy and divine presence becomes stronger, more powerful when we practice meditation as a community. There are many reasons we engage in meditation, the community experience is sure to edify our individual practices. Your presence and commitment to meditation will be an enormous blessing to one and all.  No experience is required and this is an "inter-faith" and "inter-spiritual" community for meditation and spirituality.

Emotional Spirituality & Maturity Led by Pastor Jaegil Lee

Authentic spirituality leads us to respond to emotions in a mindful and healthy way.  In this special retreat, we will examine how programmed our emotional reactions are to external stimulus, events and happenings, learning then how to handle emotions in our daily lives through mindful meditation and awareness practices.

A light lunch will be provided between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. There is no fee.  (Free-will donations are welcomed.)

All are warmly invited. Registration is not necessary.

However, if you let us know of your attendance ahead of time, it may help us prepare for the provided luncheon.

Please call Church office: 401-846-0966.
